San Angelo has so many choices of events and activities for you this week including: a market day, plays, a bake sale, live music, a Holiday Dinner Theater, Ballet, a 5K & 1K run/walk, a craft fair, a Hunters Appreciation Dinner, A recycling event, and so much more.

The Santa Rita Market Day is this Saturday, Nov.14th from 10-3 at the school's courtyard, 615 S. Madison. There are around 75 vendors with lots of gift ideas, arts & crafts plus a lot more. There will also be 7 or 8 food trucks, live music, dog adoptions, flu shots and more benefiting the SAISD Student Closet. Arts at ASU’s traditional Holiday Dinner Theatre will be the comedy “Expecting Isabel,” which will run Nov. 12-15 and 19-21 in the Modular Theatre, in the Carr Education-Fine Arts Building, 2602 Dena Drive. Show times will be at 8 p.m. Nov. 12-14 and 19-21, with dinner to be served at 6:45 p.m. A matinee performance is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov.15, with lunch served at 12:45 p.m. For more information, 325-942-2146.

Saturday, November 14th the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts invites you to join them for a special performance by San Angelo Civic Ballet students at 11:00 am and 1 pm. These performances will showcase interpretational dance based off SAMFA’s collection and will feature music and dance from “The Nutcracker”. Each performance will conclude with a fun improve dance lesson for audience members to join in on. Admission is free.

The Irion County 4-H Hunter Appreciation Dinner will be at the Mertzon Community Center on Saturday beginning at 11:30. Lunch is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 & under. The Wicked Wine Run will be at the Christoval Vineyard on Saturday. The 5K Run begins at 4:45 and the 1K Wicked Tasting Walk  begins at 6. The 9th annual Texas Recycles Day will be on Friday, Nov.13th at the Colts Stadium Parking Lot from noon-5 and all electronics will be accepted. Saturday you can take your electronics, appliances, hot water heaters, microwaves, dishwashers, and yard brush to the SAFE Recycling Center at 702 Warehouse Road from 9-4. The Lake View Bible Church's Holiday Craft Fair will be on Friday, Nov.13th from 3-6 and Saturday the14th from 9-4 at 4823 Grape Creek Road.
