The 11th annual West Texas Boys Ranch Sporting Clay Shoot is this Saturday, April 23rd. Get your shotguns ready and sign up for all the fun with 2 rotations, 2 courses, great food, silent auction and approximately 1 out of 10 shooters will win a shotgun or $750 gift certificate. This Thursday, Apr 21st,  everyone is invited to take 'The Downtown Stroll' from 5-9 pm and enjoy  Art, Shopping, Dining and more. You will find a variety of galleries and art exhibits, restaurants, merchants, museums, library exhibits, music venues, and more, many of which stay open late for this monthly event which is sponsored by Downtown San Angelo, Inc., & Cultural Arts District. The Walk for Autism, presented by the Autism Alliance of the Concho Valley, is this Saturday, April 23rd at the Paseo. Registration begins at 8:30 and the walk starts at 10 am. Teams and individual walkers are welcome. There will be a local resource and information fair, refreshments, and all donations stay local. Go to thearcofsanangelo.org to register.

The 'Wicked Wine Run' is this Saturday, April 23rd. Race through the vineyards and trails of the beautiful Christoval Winery. The start time for the 5K Wicked Run is at 5 pm and the 1K Wicked Tasting Walk begins at 6:45pm. After your race enjoy the Wicked Post Race Party with a Live Band, and… make sure you bring some cash for some great local cuisine and to purchase more wine! Spectators are welcome! The big 'Trash & Treasure Hunt' is this Saturday at the field across from Walmart & Lowe's on Sherwood Way. Register at 8:30 and be sure to wear long pants, closed-toed shoes and bring gloves. 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes' begins at 10 am this Saturday at the Tom Green County Courthouse. Men are encouraged to walk a mile in high heels to help call awareness to and help stop sexual assault and gender violence. To register, call the Concho Valley Rape Crisis Center at 655-2000.

The 40th annual Colorado River Bike Fest is this Saturday, April 23rd beginning from the Ballinger Court House. There's a 5K ride, run, or walk, and a 30K, 60K, or 100K bike tour. To enter, go to ballingernoonlions.org or call 234-7842. Proceeds benefit the Lions Club Journey For Sight.

The 20th annual West Texas Ranch Rodeo & Chuckwagon Cookoff is this Saturday, April 23rd at the Billy Tankersley Arena in Mertzon beginning at 10 am. The rodeo includes Match Calf Roping, Goat Roping, Steer Loading, and Wild Cow Milking. There's a barbeque lunch, chuckwagon supper & a dance with The Old Hat Band.
