It's the last week of Rodeo in San Angelo with plenty of fun and performances, The Downtown Stroll, Daddy/Daughter & Mother/Son Date Nights are this week, there's Cactus Market Day Saturday and more...

This is the final week of the 85th Annual San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo. Enjoy the Alon Rodeo Carnival on the fairgrounds daily through Sunday the 19th, with admission just $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for kids 11 and under. Admission is free with a rodeo ticket or a carnival super pass.

Do some shopping at the Rodeo with the creative arts exhibits open from 10-8.

This Wednesday (2/15) is Military Appreciation Night and features a 7:30 rodeo performance.

Thursday (2-16) be sure to wear your pink and celebrate 'Tough Enough To Wear Pink' Night at the San Angelo Rodeo. Relay For Life Teams will be there to fundraise and answer your questions about being a part of this year's Relay For Life. For more information, call the American Cancer Society at 944-2500.

The PRCA short-go (championship round) will be at 7:30 this Friday the 17th and the rodeo will wrap up with the Cinch Shoot-Out on Saturday the 18th at 7:30.

This month's Cactus Market Day is this Saturday (2/18) from 10-5 at the parking lot across from the Cactus Hotel. Cassie's Place will have dogs for adoption and local vendors will offer a great selection of arts and crafts for sale. Call Judy for more information at 949-6200.

Daddy/Daughter & Mother/Son Date Nights are this week. Daddy/Daughter Date Nights will be on Monday (2/13) and Wednesday (2/15). Mother/Son Date Night will be on Tuesday (2/14). A special Family Date Night, which will include a catered dinner, will be this Thursday (2/16). Each night will be hosted in the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. by the Recreation arm of the City of San Angelo’s Parks & Recreation Department. Date Night aims to give girls and boys ages 5-13 a special night during which they are the sole focus of their parent’s attention. The event includes music from a deejay, dancing, snacks, door prizes plus the opportunity to purchase mementos. For more information, call the Recreation offices at 657-4450.

The Downtown Stroll takes place again this Thursday (2/16) from 5 - 9 PM and
features a variety of galleries and art exhibits, restaurants, merchants, museums, library exhibits, music venues and more. You can even ride the Trolley for free with stops along the way. For more information, go to downtownsanangelo.com or call 655-2345.
