The Tom Green County Farm Bureau's Food Connection Day is this Thursday, March 9th from 11-1 at the Farm Bureau office at 2575 Loop 306, next to Qualtrust. Get a fresh, hot, hamburger for only 50 cents or a donation of 2 cans of food to Meals for the Elderly.

You can help Charla Putnam battle cancer. There will be a big barbeque lunch with $10 brisket plates and silent auction fundraiser at the ASCO parking lot this Saturday, March 11th from 11-2 to benefit her medical fund.

Meals for the Elderly's Mardi Gras will be this Tuesday evening, March 7th from 5:30 until 9 at the new location, the coliseum. The ASU Planetarium, in the Vincent Nursing-Physical Science Building at ASU offers great shows every Thursday at 7 & 8 pm. Admission is $3 adults, $2 children, military and seniors. Free for students and ASU staff. The newly renovated ASU Planetarium now contains the distinctive combination of a Sci-Dome HD digital projector and large tilted dome theater. The San Angelo Symphony's Music In Literature Program invites you to come to the Angelo North Branch Library, 3001 N. Chadbourne this Saturday, March 11th at 2 pm. This program is designed for grades K-5 and provides a wonderful opportunity to expose elementary-age children to the power of music in literature.
