The San Angelo Fire Truck Pull to benefit Special Olympics will be this Saturday, Nov. 5th at Texas Roadhouse. Anyone can participate by getting a team of 12 together and pulling a 55 thousand pound fire truck for 75 feet. Go to sotx.org/firetruckpull for more information.

The San Angelo Elks Lodge invites all military veterans and their families to a free meal this Saturday, Nov. 5th. The meal will be after the Veteran's Day Parade from Noon-3 at the Lodge located at 2121 S. Chadbourne. This Saturday, Nov. 5th is the 1st Saturday of the month, which means another monthly celebration of art, music, and community at the Chicken Farm Art Center from 10 am - 5 pm. Events include artist, vendors with handmade works and gifts, a live music circle hosted by the Chicken Pickers, great food, and free clay art experiments for kids to participate in. The Fine Art and Food Truck Festival is being held this Saturday, Nov. 5th from 6 -10 pm at the Concho Crossing parking lot (corner of Concho and Oaks St). Check out all the Food Trucks! Beverages will be available for purchase from Concho Valley Winery and the SOCO Brew House both located in the square. Artists will also be displaying art for sale and a fine art show will be on display in the Paint and Sip, also in the square plus there will be live music to enjoy. This is a free event for all ages!
