Concho Christmas Celebration will hold its annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony at the corner of South Chadbourne and Concho Avenue this Saturday, December 2nd. The ceremony is free and begins at 5:15 p.m. and will include performances by the San Angelo Community Band and the Twin Mountain Tonesmen. The Tree Lighting Ceremony is the kick-off event for the Concho Christmas Celebration Tour of Lights and is immediately followed by the Lights of Christmas Parade held downtown beginning at 6:00 p.m. For more information, call 632-4421.

The San Angelo Bicycle Association Invites You To Ride with Santa through the Christmas Lights on the Concho River Sunday, Dec. 3rd with festivities starting at the YMCA at 4:30 pm. Santa will hand out "treats" to the participants and families. Santa will also be available for pictures and then riders will get the tour underway at 5:30 p.m.

The 1st Saturday of very month The Chicken Farm Art Center of San Angelo hosts a monthly celebration of art, music, and community! Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, The Concho Valley Farmers Market’s weekly produce sales begin at 7 a.m. The vendors come from a 75-mile radius around San Angelo offering locally grown and seasonal fruits, vegetables and plants from 7 am until they sell out (typically by noon).
