San Angelo’s Weekly Events

There are a lot of events and activities to enjoy once again this week in the Concho Valley. Take a look at the following list for this week and you will see for yourself.

Every 3rd Saturday, which is the 20th this month, you are invited to enjoy Cactus Market Days. The outdoor market will showcase local crafters, designers and artists who will offer a variety of handmade items for sale. The monthly arts and crafts fair will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday in the parking lot between the O.C. Fisher Federal Building and Tarpley Music Store, 13 E. Be on the lookout for those girl scouts selling cookies now through February 26th. You can find out where you can get yours by calling the Girl Scout office at 655-8961.

Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating & Marriage continues with performances through

There will be a free Self Defense, Safety, and Survival Clinic for Women and Children this Saturday, Feb. 20th at Spirit Fit Martial Arts. Preregistration is encouraged by calling 895-8044.

All Military Veterans are invited to a free breakfast at the Elks Lodge this Saturday, Feb. 20th, from 7:30 until 10 am. All Veterans from all service branches are invited to stop by the lodge at 2121 South Chadbourne for breakfast, conversation, and fellowship. For more information, call Jim at 227-6920.

This is the last week of the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo. Be sure to take in all of the activities the fairgrounds have to offer including top Rodeo performances, a great midway with lots of rides and food booths, shopping opportunities, the show barn with so many exhibits to see, and a lot more. The Brice Daniels band will be playing the Beer Barn Both Friday and Saturday nights. Be sure to drop by our Kickin' Country/Graceland Portable building across from the Beer Barn and say Hi.
