SAPD is Recruiting for New Officers

Zac Upton with the San Angelo Police Department dropped by the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call' this morning to talk about opportunities in our police department.

Zac took us through the process of how everything works from the moment you file your application paper work to be considered.

It is a pretty involved process starting with a written exam, followed by a physical and agility test, then a background check among other things before eventually entering the police academy if selected.

Officer Upton explained that the process is thorough but very rewarding once you make the grade.
