On August 28, 2013, San Angelo Police arrested 11 people after a recent warrant sweep in San Angelo with outstanding warrants ranging from drug possession and trafficking to organized crime.  The department utilized teams of officers to serve the outstanding warrants, which resulted in the arrests of the following suspects:

Bobby J. Branch:  VOP-Possession of Marijuana
Richard B. Summers: Misdemeanor Warrant No Fishing License
Brandon Gilbert: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance x2

Michael Reisner: City Warrants x10
Charlie McDonald: Possession of Marijuana

Kirk D. Flanary: Possession of Marijuana
Adolfo Castillo:Possession of Marijuana, Possession/Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia

Joseph A. Rue: FTA x1, Possession/Delivery Drug Paraphernalia                                                               
Jared Lohse: MTR-Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled with Bodily Injury,

MTR-Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Evading Arrest Detention
Courtney Fobb: Parole Violation Warrant, City Warrants x2

Brandon R. Gonzales: MTR-Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity

When officers attempted to apprehend Fobb, he led police on a brief foot pursuit.  Officers caught Fobb and during a search incident to his arrest, Fobb was found to be in possession of a substance that field-tested positive for approximately 11 grams of crack cocaine.  Fobb was subsequently charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1 4g-200g and Evading Arrest/Detention Enhanced.

Brandon R. Gonzales also fled officers during his apprehension.  K9 Team Officer Joel Fincher and Police Service Dog Fritz captured him after a one-mile track into a field near the 2100 block of E. 37th Street.  Gonzales was subsequently charged with Evading Arrest/Detention.
