Showdown In San Angelo

It's that time again! The boat races are in town. Read on for all the details you need for this weekends activities.

This weekend kicks off the 6th Annual Showdown in San Angelo. There is a full weekend of water and boats, my kinda weekend. Boats will be put up against each other on a quarter mile stretch. They are fighting each other as well as time. These boats can go up to 250MPH in less that 4 seconds. Crazy. The best part is that you can get interactive with all the racers and see their boats. This is a family event that kids can really enjoy. Cooler passes can be purchased, you can bring anything except glass containers. I highly suggest you bring water, lawn chairs, and extra sunscreen. Make sure you come by the Kickin' Country Booth. We will be registering people up to win tickets to Schlitterbahn.
