I visited with Megan Kirkwood today with the Sonrisas Trails therapeutic riding program of San Angelo on the Kickin' Wake-Up Call. We talked about the upcoming Claybird Shoot and also about some of the great changes happening with Sonrisas.

Megan filled us in on how they are making the transition to their new home as they team up with Mosaic.

Their new season of riding actually starts today and she is very excited about being able to offer their services in the facilities on the grounds of Mosaic. She talked about the classes, needing more volunteers, and other aspects of the program.

Now, lets ge to the Claybird Shoot that is coming up on September 26th. It is their second annual and they have an exciting day planned for everyone.

You can register now which would be great as far as helping with the head count, but you can also register the day of the event starting at 8 am.

Megan explained how the shoot will work and she talked about prizes for top shooters.

Food will be provided by the Cooking For Christ Team. These guys know how to cook and they are all great guys as a bonus!

Their will also be a big auction with some very special items for you to bid on.

Finally, Megan told us how to get registered and to where to get questions answered.
