Megan Kirkwood from Sonrisas Talks Relocation and Expansion

Sonrisas provides therapy to persons with physical, emotional, and mental challenges through a carefully structured program of equine activities. I visited with Megan Kirkwood from Sonrisas today on the Kickin' Wake-Up Call and she had some very exciting news to share.

Sonrisas offers therapeutic horseback riding to those with physical, mental, and emotional challenges. They charge nothing for their services and are the only local therapeutic riding center that does not charge, and one of the few centers in Texas and nationally that does not charge for services.

They have always done a fantastic job, but Megan explained they are in the process of expanding in a huge way. We talked about the relocation and expansion of Sonrisas and what it's going to mean to our community.
