Sturgill Simpson performed Last Night on ‘Seth Meyers’

Sturgill Simpson performed on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night and gave an incredible performance of 'Welcome to Earth (Pollywog)', a song from his third and latest album, A Sailor’s Guide to Earth.

The song transitions from a calm start, and then Simpson and the band heat things up in the second half.

Simpson is still enjoying the success of A Sailor’s Guide to Earth after it hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country charts back in April.

Sturgill made waves last month after making some controversial statements on Facebook knocking the ACM’s new Merle Haggard Award. Simpson admitted he might be blackballed for his comments, but that’s okay, because he doesn’t need them to succeed.

Simpson is still currently on his Sailor’s Tour all the way through November.
