Sturgill Simpson Performs on ‘Conan’ [VIDEO]

Sturgill Simpson stopped by ‘Conan’ this week.

Simpson has release two independent albums.  His latest is Metamodern Sounds in Country Music. 

Simpson's sound has elicited comparisons to the late Waylon Jennings.  Waylon's son Shooter even said this about Simpson in Rolling Stone: "Sturgill isn't imitating at all, and he sounds like my favorite era of my dad, the Seventies, when he would sing quieter and more conversational. That's what struck me about Sturgill from Day One. And still does."
