The RRB Choir grew by one today as Randy Rogers and his wife welcomed Rumer Rain into the world. Rumer was born at 7:29 a.m. this morning (June 3), tipping the scales at 7 lbs, 13 oz and 20 inches long.
More than most states, Colorado really seems to be taking a liking to Texas and Red Dirt Music. And for the second year in a row Randy Rogers and Casey Donahew will be heading up to Red Dirt on the Rocks, only this time they're bringing Cody Johnson with 'em.
You know him as "Johnny Chops," the bass player from the Randy Rogers Band. He has been laying down their four string groove for well over a decade. But Jon Richardson also does his own thing from time to time, and even released his debut solo album Sticks And Stones back in August of 2013.

It appears the Randy Rogers Band is back in the studio! RRB posted the above photos on their Facebook page today. We simply can not wait until we can hear whatever new stuff they are working on.
Randy is even sporting an old Southwest Texas State, now Texas State, t-shirt from his alma mater...

Last December Randy Rogers called on Sean McConnell and William Clark Green to join him on an acoustic tour, that would only later be dubbed "The Three Guitarristas." This year the guys are back for another, although, abbreviated four show tour. And just a suggestion, if they're coming near you, be there.
Founded in 2010, Crude Fest is a three-day celebration of Texas music and culture. In 2014, the festival welcomed nearly 10,000 people and featured more than 25 of the leading acts in Texas music, including the Josh Abbott Band, the Casey Donahew Band, Aaron Watson, Cody Canada and the Departed, and Roger Creager...
The Randy Rogers Band will be in San Angelo tonight, October 23rd, bringing one heck of a show to Midnight Rodeo. It has been awhile since the whole band has performed here in town, and it is not something you want to miss out on!
