Texas Among The Top 5 Worst Drivers

I know that some of you are thinking number one has got to be Texas, because of perhaps personal experiences you may have had. Well, based on this year's poll by carinsurancecomparison.com, the worst drivers of any state in the nation are found in Louisiana.

Using statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the National Motorists Association and Mothers Against Drunk Driving, among others, Louisiana managed to finish in the Top 5 for three different categories: Failure to Obey, Ticketing Rate and Careless Driving.

South Carolina, Mississippi, Texas and Alabama rounded out the Top 5 list of the worst drivers in the U.S.

On the flip side, Vermont achieved the distinction of having the nation's best drivers, followed by Utah, New Hampshire, Minnesota and Oregon.
