Based out of Austin, The Band of Heathens carry a lot of titles in describing their music... Americana, folk rock, country, blues, Texas country, jam rock, roots rock and blue-eyed soul. Whatever you call their music, they are very good at what they do!...

The Band of Heathens has released numerous albums and successful singles over the years. The list reads as follows:
2006: Live from Momo’s
2007: Live at Antone’s (CD+DVD)
2008: The Band of Heathens', (first studio production)
2009: Live @ Blue Rose Christmas Party Germany 2008 (limited edition)

Their current project is called Duende, pronounced duen-de. It means several things...1. A quality of inspiration and passion, 2. A heightened sense of emotion, expression and authenticity, and 3. a spirit.

This album, released in January, 2017 is The Band of Heathens’ fifth studio album (ninth overall), and marks their tenth anniversary as a group.

The Band of Heathens brought roughly 40 songs to the table. They recorded about 20 of them, mixed about 15 of them and selected 10 to make the album.

The lead single from their new album is called  'All I’m Asking.' I thought you might like to check it out in the above video!
