The Cinch Roping Fiesta is Coming Soon

We are coming up on the 62nd Annual San Angelo Cinch Roping Fiesta October 23rd thru the 25th for 2015. I visited with Tom Thompson, Marketing Director and Brittni Kaczyk, Livestock Director with the San Angelo Rodeo Association and we talked about this years Roping Fiesta on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call'.

They gave us a complete overview of this year's activities and schedules.

We talked about the preliminaries, calf roping event, invitational steer roping, double mugging, and the always popular match roping event.

We discussed the number of participants and spectators expected this year. We also talked about the level of talent it takes to be invited to participate in the Roping Fiesta along with the payout amounts for the top ropers.

Then we got to the traditional concert and dance that always features great bands. This year's headliner is Roger Creager who has been a Texas Music Favorite for years. They gave us a rundown of ticket and table prices along with information on it being a BYOB event.
