The Jackie Myers Band Puts on a Great Show

This was not her first show at The House of FiFi DuBois and I'm sure it wont be her last because the Jackie Myers Band out of Austin was very entertaining last night.

Jackie is a very good vocalist, writer, and pianist backed by a solid rhythm section with drums and bass guitar. One critic describes her music as Blue Eyed Soul with an Edge. Others call it a mixture of Funk, Groove, Blues, Jazz, and soul.

Her sound is certainly versatile, unique, and smooth.

Jackie plays all over the United States in all size venues, festivals, and clubs. The band has three albums to their credit including their first which was released in 2010 called 'Count To Three', the second is 'Ten Foot Twins' released in 2012, and the third and current album is simply called 'Third' and is only available at shows for now.

The Jackie Myers band is headed out of state for numerous dates again but when she eventually gets back to San Angelo, be sure to catch her live show.
