The San Angelo State Park Has Summer Fun

San Angelo is lucky to have a State Park with over eight thousand acres of fun to offer you. Kurt Kemp is the Park Superintendent and he visited with me today on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call' to talk about what is available to you.....

He said that our lake levels are in great shape for boating, fishing, and other lake activities. Kurt said they continue to stock the lake with various fish as well. You can check out fishing equipment at no charge and you don't even have to have a license to fish from the bank.

We also talked about a tree cutting event on May 21st, a Trail Ride in June. a Day Camp coming up, and more events on the way.

Kurt explained that they have many things to offer you with horse pens, pavilions, a bunkhouse, cabins, and so much more.

He gave us contact information to find out about events, facilities, and questions in general.
