Doug Moreland is wrapping up the month of July with a show at Blaine's Pub this Friday, July 31st. If you get a chance to go I would certainly recommend this as being a great show to see.

Doug has been on the Texas music scene for many years and is quite the entertainer. He wears quite a few hats including: being a West Texas fiddler, songwriter, entertainer, and Chainsaw artist.

He is based out of Austin and has eight albums to his credit. This guy is full of wit and charm and it comes across in a huge way on stage.

He has toured all over the United States and in Europe. He has even toured on national TV with his former partner Holly-Peno (his black and white fiddle playing dog) which landed the two of them on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno along with Animal Planet & Ripley's Believe it or not.

Doug also does beautiful chainsaw art carvings and his pieces which he sells are certainly in high demand.

Doug has numerous hits  out there most of which are tongue & cheek like 'The Beer Song', 'Heart As Big As Texas', 'The Nascar Song', and others.

But today being 'Throwback Thursday', I wanted to feature an honest to gosh ballad for you from Doug.

Its called 'You're In Dallas' from 2001 and you can check it out in the above video.
