#ThrowbackThursday – Merle Haggard and the “Workin’ Man Blues”

Well since we're coming off Labor Day, how about we throwback this Thursday with a song dealing with 'laboring'.

Back in the late 1960's, Merle Haggard wrote the song "Workin' Man Blues". Haggard wrote the song as a tribute to his working class fan base. The song appears on Haggard's album 'A Portrait of Merle Haggard' and became his 7th number one country song. Click on the above YouTube video for the song and enjoy.
