Back on this date in 1983, Willie Nelson's version of "Always on My Mind" won Song of the Year at the Grammys.

The song was written by Wayne Carson, Johnny Christopher and Mark James. The song was recorded by Brenda Lee and also Elvis in the early 70's. So since today is Throwback Thursday, let's all click on the above YouTube video and listen to Willie's version that took home a Grammy.
