An Australian man has announced he'll be building the Titanic II.

Clive Palmer, an Australian billionaire, announced today that he will be building a high tech clone of the Titanic and will be making the maiden voyage from England to New York in 2016.  Palmer says the Titanic II will be as luxurious and look exactly like the original Titanic but have state of the art technology.  The only upgrades that could change the look will be below the water line such as welds rather than rivets, width, rudder and bow thrusters.  The smoke stacks are only for decoration and won't be bellowing smoke as it will have four diesel motors.

I think this is a pretty cool idea but I feel many people will be superstitious about boarding he clone of an unsinkable boat that sank on the first trip.  A project of this magnitude will could have be an epic fail or win depending on ticket pricing.  I'm wondering if they will have ticket prices of the typical cruise ships or will this be something that most of us wouldn't be able to afford?  What are your thoughts?
