Tom Green County Reminds You That County Wide Burn Ban Is Still In Effect

In case you were wondering about the County Burn Ban you should know these facts.

A reminder for all of the residents living in Tom Green County, the County Commissioners have reinstated the county wide burn ban back on Feb. 19th. The ban prohibits outdoor burning until the ban is lifted by the County Commissioners lift the ban. There are a few exceptions for the outdoor burn ban which include: fire fighting training, public utility, natural gas pipeline or mining operations, harvesting of agricultural crops and any burn that is conducted by a prescribed burn manager.
