There are several Christmas events happening this weekend, so check out the dates and times so you can make them all.

Old Fort Concho Christmas celebration will be open until Sunday. While you are there, have Pancakes with Santa Saturday morning from 7:30 until 11:00 am.

The lighting of the Christmas Tree downtown San Angelo is this Saturday night at around 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by Lights of Christmas Parade.

The Tour of Lights opens Friday, December 5th, 2014, and continues every evening through December 31st.
Cars enter at Bryant Blvd. South and Abe Street (the street north of the Main Post Office), and may drive through from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight, Fridays and Saturdays. A donation of $5 per vehicle is suggested.

“Home for the Pawlidays,” this Friday, Dec. 5, at the San Angelo Animal Shelter, 3142 U.S. Highway 277 North. The donation drive will be from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Checks can be made payable to the City of San Angelo Animal Services and mailed to 1907 Douglas Drive, San Angelo, TX 76904. Donated items can include pet food, toys, blankets and leashes

The San Angelo Symphony’s 'A Winter Wonderland' on Saturday, December 6th at the McNease Convention Center under the direction of Maestro Hector Guzman. Doors open at 6pm and the concert begins at 7pm. Ticket prices are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $10 for students, active military and children.
