Tragic news out of Austin late last night as an allegedly drunk driver crashed into a crowd killing two and injuring twenty-three. This week is the iconic South by Southwest Festival, when tens of thousands concert-goers descend on Austin.

According to reports, "The incident happened near W. 10th and Red River St. downtown. KXAN-TV in Austin reports that the man was driving the wrong way on 9th St. when he plowed into a crowd of people. A police officer was almost hit before the car struck a taxi, then two people on a moped. The man and woman on the moped died at the scene."
