The House of FiFi DuBois always brings in great shows, but, this Thursday was the best I’ve seen there: Uncle Lucius. Now, when someone says “Texas Red Dirt Country” it invokes images of twang, guitars, cowboy hats, and Southern drawl. However, while Uncle Lucius’ musical voice has a distinct southern drawl, it heralds more to the age of jazz and blues and old rock singers. Their music is just as non-conventional as the lead singer's, Kevin Galloway, voice. They create the perfect harmony with that southern rock that they do so well. Frankly, it was one hell of a show. Can’t wait to see them again. If you liked them, click here to see where they will be next, and what they will have going on the rest of this year.
