United Blood Services has one half day supply of O Negative blood type on their shelf and the 8 hospitals that they are the sole provider of blood and its products
If there was an emergency,there would not be enough blood on hand.

The lives of patients in local hospitals are depending on donors knowing about this Critical -- Critical Need!

To donate, you must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health to donate.  Donors between 16 and 22 must meet additional height and weight requirements.  16 year old donors must present a Minor Donor Permit Form signed by a parent or guardian.  The Minor Donor Permit can be found online at www.unitedbloodservices.org.
