Wade Bowen is gearing up to host his 15th annual Wade Bowen Celebrity Golf Tournament and Concert on June 2-3. The event will take place in Bowen's hometown of Waco, Texas, and it will benefit the Bowen Family Foundation.

Over the past four years, Bowen has raised nearly half a million dollars to benefit a variety of local organizations in need. This year, in light of the recent fertilizer plant explosion that killed 15 and injured hundreds in West, Texas, Bowen will donate the profits to family and townspeople who were affected by the blasts.

"Upon learning of the tragedy in West, TX, I immediately knew that I wanted to raise as much money as I could to help with the community’s rebuilding efforts," Bowen said in a statement. "I have many fond memories of West. It was the town in which I had my first real music gig."

The 15th Annual Wade Bowen Golf Classic and Concert will kick off with an all-star performance at Indian Springs Park on June 2. The concert will feature Bowen, of course, and a cast of his famous friends -- Josh Abbott Band, Aaron Watson, Neal McCoy, Cody Canada & Seth James of the Departed, Willy Braun of Reckless Kelly, Charlie Worsham, Cody Johnson and Josh Weathers are all scheduled to play. More musical guests will be added in the coming weeks.

The event will continue on the morning of June 3, with the two-man golf scramble starting off at 10 AM at the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco.

"This event is very special and important to me for so many reasons," Bowen added. "I truly love having the chance to help those in need and it is such an honor to watch the reactions that come with that. I've been very blessed over the last 15 years to have so much help from friends and family."

Tickets to golf in the tournament are $180 and include two concert tickets. Fans interested in the concert only can purchase tickets for $20 in advance or $25 day of show. Children 12 and under get in free. Click here to purchase tickets or learn more about the event.
