I always love to see our West Texas Bands break out and start climbing that ladder of success like The Stateline Band is doing right now!!

The original band was formed back in 2003 and made a couple of adjustments along the way finally releasing their debut single in 2017 called “Hollywood” which showcased a honky-tonk Tex-Mex sound. They followed that up with Two singles in 2020...“Full-Time Fool” and “Time Clock”.

Now they have their 4th single out which is doing very well for them! It’s called “Dancehall Devil”, released this year (2021) and it’s steadily climbing the Texas Music Singles Charts. Kickin’ Country 103-1 is playing “Dancehall Devil” which our Texas Country Music fans are loving.

The Stateline band is making quite a statement on the Texas Country music scene with their own unique sound as they offer up a combination Old School, Honky-Tonk with a Rock'n'Roll edge and top it off with an accordion adding a little Tex-Mex Magic to their own style of great music which they call Texas Dancehall Country.

I am delighted for them having received the very prestigious "Best New Band of the Year” award at the 2021 T3R Awards Presentations.

On their Facebook page they are reminding everyone to vote now for the 2022 T3RA Awards saying...TIME TO NOMINATE FOR THE 2022 T3R TEXAS REGIONAL RADIO MUSIC AWARDS!

Nominations have started...Nominate your favorite Texas/Red Dirt Country artist, radio station and DJ at www.trrma.net.

The Stateline Band plays in their West Texas backyard from time to time. If you get the opportunity, go see them. You’ll like what you hear and we will be looking for their next single to play on Kickin’ Country 103-1!
