As you know, Willie Nelson is getting on up there in age. He has a new song and video that addresses the realities of getting older.

The 83-year-old gave us a scare recently when he was forced to cancel a number of concerts due to health issues. But he got past that and is back on the road again and getting ready for the release of his new album, 'God's Problem Child' which is due for release on April 28th, the day before his 84th birthday.

Nelson has released a music video to one of the albums songs called 'It Gets Easier'. In this video, Nelson channels a sense of freedom that comes with advancing years and certain regrets as he sings, “I don’t have to do/ One damn thing I don’t want to do/ Except for missing you/ And that won’t go away.”

In addition to “It Gets Easier,” Nelson and his longtime collaborator, songwriter-producer Buddy Cannon wrote eight other songs for the collection, the most Nelson has composed for an album in years.

I look forward to hearing Willie's new album when it comes out. Until then, check out the above video to Willie Nelson's song 'God's Problem Child' from the new album.
