If you didn't hear, last week was a big one for Austin and central Texas. Not only did a couple thousand bands converge on our capital for SXSW, but Jimmy Kimmel brought his late night show to the city -- putting our great state, and many of our own stars on a national stage. I mean, c'mon, how can you do a talk show in Texas without talking with the legendary Willie Nelson?

You can't.

The interview is full of great info and funny sound bites (I had no idea Willie is a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do). But the best one is when Willie extends Governor Rick Perry an open invitation to "come on the bus and take a trip with us," which of course drew yelps, hollers and applause from the crowd.

Turns out, Perry was on the show earlier in the week and told Kimmel he's changed his views, and would like to at least look into decriminalizing marijuana, based in part on Willie.
