1st there were 2 shows at Coopers This Weekend

Cooper's BBQ Live is bringing you another great show this weekend as Kevin Fowler & Roger Creager take the stage on Friday, May 6th. When the two of them get together, they are also known as Dos Borrachos.

Cooper's had another great band for you this weekend as well. Aaron Watson was scheduled to play Coopers this Sat, May 7th but had to cancel due to a problem with his vocal chords.

Watson said this is the first time in his career he's had to cancel shows because of health reasons stating "Before my Billy Bob's show a few weeks back, I was really struggling singing. The following week, I was in some excruciating pain."

Watson said he saw a doctor who told him that he had inflammation of his vocal cords and needed to take some time off. The good news is that the problem with his vocal chords will not require surgery, just a little time off.

Cooper's BBQ Live in Christoval has always been great about rescheduling artist who have to cancel for whatever reason and they have already rescheduled Aaron Watson to play on September 16th and said the tickets already purchased for this weekend will be honored on the new date.

We'll just have to wait a little longer to let Aaron Watson get well. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to his Cooper's show in September!!

The shows are BYOB and for an extra twenty dollars fill up your cooler with all of your favorite beverages. Everyone is invited to take lawn chairs and blankets to add to your comfort.
