47 Years Ago Was A Giant Leap for Mankind
On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, became the first men to step on the moon’s surface, a defining moment in human history.
If you were around then, no doubt you were glued to the TV, watching these two men make history.
A couple of things you might not remember about this important event. Both Armstrong and Aldrin said the moon had an unpleasant odor and the first food consumed on the moon was a communion wafer, which Aldrin had brought along.
If you were watching this event unfold, and most all of us were, how about sharing your thoughts and memories with us. We'd love to hear em'. So, feel free to leave a comment.
