The 'San Angelo Cowboy Gathering' was held in September. This is a huge annual event and each year this non-profit organization picks another non-profit group to share the proceeds with. If your organization wants in, you are running out of time.

I visited with Terri Holland, coordinator for the 'Cowboy Gathering' this morning on the Kickin' Wake-Up Call. We talked about the success of last months event as well as what and who to expect in 2016, as they have already started booking bands for next year.

Last month's Cowboy Gathering benefited the Concho Valley Home For Girls/ Children's Emergency Shelter. The deadline is fast approaching to make a decision on who will be chosen as a non-profit organization to receive some of next years funds from the 2016 event.

Terri gave us the rundown on what information they need from anyone would who would like to have their organization considered, as well as contact information and the deadline for application.

This is a wonderful two day experience with food, shopping, and a great line up of live music to enjoy. It's so popular that it sold out 3 weeks in advance this year and will most likely do it again in 2016.

If you have a non-profit organization that is looking for additional funding, Terri encourages you to get in touch with her and put your name in the hat for consideration.
