Shining a light into a world full of uncertainty, this is today's reason to smile.

A 10 year old boy and a family friend in Rhode Island came together to support those who need it most, our healthcare workers.

Last Monday Abbey Meeker, and her friend's son, Christian Stone, removed snow off more than 80 cars at Westerly Hospital after a large snow storm had blown through the area.

"Christian wanted to do something good for nurses about a month ago when it stormed, and he said next time it snowed, he wanted to clean cars off for nurses because of COVID," explained Meeker. "I told him I would come with him."

They spent the day taking care of the people that are working tirelessly to take care of us.

I don't know if you ever had to remove snow after a blizzard, but I have, and it sucks so much.

And that is ONE car I had to take care of. To clean 80 cars is something that sounds like a torture fit for the US military.

But this 10 year old boy did not care about that, he did not care that he would be spending his snow day outside as oppose to indoors with his family, all he thought about was how he can help those who help others.

We can all learn a thing or two from this young man and his passion for helping others.
