Max Stalling is quite the song writer/storyteller. One critic called his style modern with a vintage feel. I suppose that could be said of him. You'll have a chance to see him in San Angelo this Saturday Night at the House of FiFi DuBois.

When you look at some of his major influences like Townes Van Zandt, Robert Earl Keen, and Guy Clark, it's easy to understand how he was impressed by their story telling and writing as they are all very great at it, and so is Max.

He has seven albums out with an 8th one on the way set for release on October 9th. Max has been quite successful on both Texas and Americana music charts and tours relentlessly.

Max has had a string of hit songs like 'Running Buddy', 'I Ain't Drinking Alone', 'Crazy Like That', 'Blue Eyes', 'Bass Run', '6X9 Speakers', and many more.

On a side note, it's pretty cool that his wife Heather plays fiddle in the band.

Check out the above video of 'Runnin' Buddy', one of his biggest songs and plan on making it out to his show this Saturday at the House of FiFi DuBois.
