Robin Wright’s ‘Wonder Woman’ Character Antiope Will Be in ‘Justice League’
Justice League is set to be Warner Bros. biggest superhero team-up film yet, with metahumans we’ve met and a few we haven’t coming together to fight against injustice. Even those who aren’t traditionally members of the team are in for this fight, including a few of Wonder Woman’s Themysciran compatriots.

Damon Lindelof Might Know Something We Don’t About Where the ‘Alien’ Franchise Is Heading
Way back when Ridley Scott was just starting to work on his Alien prequel Prometheus, he hired Damon Lindelof to refine the script Scott had worked on with Jonathan Spaihts. Lindelof’s job was to focus more on the Engineer aspects of the film and less on the Alien bits, creating what turned out to be a totally bizarre, inventive take on the foundation of Scott’s Alien universe. Because he was so steeped in the Engineer lore, Lindelof might have some idea of where the franchise plans to go after the events of Alien: Covenant.

The Cast for Steven Spielberg’s Pentagon Papers Movie Is Incredible
Steven Spielberg’s Pentagon Papers movie, recently retitled The Papers (before it was The Post), has one of the most ridiculously stacked casts in recent memory — and it just recruited more members. Alison Brie, Carrie Coon, David Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Tracy Letts, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Paulson, Jesse Plemons, Matthew Rhys, Michael Stuhlbarg, Bradley Whitford, Zach Woods, and Pat Healy have signed up help out Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep investigate America’s involvement in the Vietnam War.

Dwayne Johnson Laughs Off Bad ‘Baywatch’ Reviews, Because Joke’s on Us, We’re Getting a Franchise
It’s gotta be tough for actors and directors when folks don’t like their movie, especially when a lot of those folks are the critics driving the scores on review aggregation websites before the movie has a chance to hit theaters. Baywatch has officially been out since Wednesday, and the critical reception has been… less than great. Some regular non-critics seem to dig the film, which The Rock was quick to pick up on.

Tom Cruise Just Confirmed ‘Top Gun 2’ Is Happening, May Start Production This Year
Some days it seems like a new sequel rumor hits the Internet every day. Whispers of Top Gun 2 have been floating around the stratosphere for a few years, with the movie even getting a screenwriter at one point, Val Kilmer vowing to return, and even a mysterious meeting with Jerry Bruckheimer. Sometimes, because of timing or lack of resources or myriad other reasons, sequels just don’t end up happening even if they’re hyped. But today brings good news for Top Gun 2 hopefuls: it’s definitely happening, and Tom Cruise himself says it’ll start filming within the next twelve months.

New Netflix Instant Releases: June 2017
It’s that time again: time to round up everything coming and going from all the streaming services at the start of the new month. Netflix has a pretty fantastic slate for this June, which includes their Cannes contender Okja, directed by Bong Joon-ho and starring Tilda Swinton and Jake Gyllenhaal. There’s also a few popular 2016 releases like Xavier Dolan’s It’s Only the End of the World, and Catfight, that movie about Sandra Oh and Anne Heche beating the living daylights out of each other. And if you want to hear a bunch of animated plants sing Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence,” give Trolls a shot.

‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’ Is Being Held Hostage by Actual Online Pirates
Since online pirates tend to view “don’t steal stuff” as more of a guideline than an actual rule, it’s no surprise that eventually they’d start taking aim at Hollywood. And, hey, why not start big, with, say, Disney, the biggest studio in the business? And instead of pilfering something like Coco, how about going after, I dunno, maybe Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the fifth installment in one of the most recognizable brands worldwide? Well, that’s exactly what a group of hackers apparently did.

Wick Shows Off His Dual Wielding Skills in the New ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Poster
There are a lot of things to love about what is now the John Wick series — the fighting choreography, the colors, the cast, the story — but the movies also have some very cool posters. While most action movie posters all look like a Star Wars DVD cover these days, John Wick: Chapter 2 has rolled out a few very neat, minimalist images to advertise their film.

‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Clip: Wick Is Back, and He Has a New Dog
Okay, so the only real action in this clip is Keanu Reeves walking down a hallway, but it has a new dog in it so it’s still plenty exciting. The latest clip from John Wick: Chapter 2 shows us all that John Wick is back (yes, we get it!!) and he needs to at least change his shirt.

Daniel Wu to Raid Tombs With Lara Croft in ‘Tomb Raider’ Reboot
That Tomb Raider reboot is chugging right along after justifying its existence by casting Walton Goggins as the villain. Obviously the agents know what they’re doing because that casting is perfect, as is Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft herself. Today, the studio announced a new addition, as Daniel Wu has officially joined the cast.
