It might sound boring – Adam Sandler talks about food with Conan O’Brien – but the former Saturday Night Live stars (Sandler was, of course, a cast member, while O’Brien as a long-time writer) have some pretty tall tales to share about their time on the show, specifically as it applies to meals.

It's the moment we all knew would happen eventually -- and, based on the immediacy of the news cycle and when late night shows are actually filmed, it's the moment most of us also knew was happening yesterday -- but 'Daily Show' host Jon Stewart has finally announced his retirement after seventeen years at the news desk. Stewart's show films in the late evenings in New York City, so the news that he had announced his imminent retirement during a taping last night hit the wire many hours before the show actually aired.

Jeff Bridges really, really, really wants to help you sleep. The 'Seventh Son' star recently popped up during the Super Bowl, touting, well, something during a somewhat strange and somewhat soothing commercial spot. Turns out, Bridges is actually selling what it looks like he's selling: sleep. Wait, what?

For his latest round of "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets," Jimmy Kimmel trotted out his most star-studded line-up of celebs yet, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Lena Dunham, Gerard Butler, Ty Burrell, Bob Newhart, Britney Spears, Geena Davis, Chris Pratt, Chloe Grace Moretz, Scott Foley, Michael Chiklis, Ted Danson (Ted Danson? who tweets mean things about Ted Danson?), John Stamos, Lisa Kudrow, and Adam Sandler. But he also rounded up the meanest collection of, well, #meantweets ever. These tweets are really mean, you guys!

"Summertime! Summertime, people!" Sure, Bruce Willis. We can blame this on it being the summertime. The actor hit 'The Late Show' last night to ... honestly, we don't even know, but eventually it devolved into Willis eating corn on the cob harmonica-style and getting absolutely covered in melted butter. It seems that Willis is a huge fan of corn -- can't get enough of it! -- and he was eager to share some corn-centric life hacks with host David Letterman.

We may have to wait until Christmas to see James Franco and Seth Rogen in 'The Interview,' but the pair are already hard at work making sure that audiences are extremely, perhaps uncomfortably familiar with their characters through a 'Very Special VMA Special.'

During the taping of last night's 'Conan,' the heartbreaking news of Robin Williams' passing was announced. Instead of ignoring the news or saving it for tomorrow or not acknowledging it, host Conan O'Brien took it upon himself to share it with a shocked studio audience, sidekick Andy Richter, and guest Will Arnett. Still stunned and reeling from the news, the trio -- all of whom had worked with Williams in the past -- shared their thoughts on the actor and comedian.

You know the drill by now: a big star hits up a late night talk show to chat, laugh, maybe play a game, plug their latest project, and show a clip. It's a standard way to do things, but you know who doesn't care about standard ways of doing things? Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. And, really, who are we to argue with him?

Jimmy Fallon's love for turning basic drinking games into outsized (often, quite literally) versions of themselves is well documented, but the 'Tonight Show' host just might have reached the apex of his drinking game adoration when he challenged Pitbull (Mr. Worldwide, please) to a round of Giant Duff Beer Pong. Wait, why Duff? Because Fallon and his show have been camped out at Universal Studios in Orlando all week, and yes, this game is all about Duff Beer, the favorite fictional beer of 'The Simpsons.'

'The Tonight Show' is down in Orlando for the week, and although the 'Harry Potter' theme park they overtook is packed with families, it's really for the kids, because it doesn't seem as if any of the parents in attendance have ever even picked up a book. Need proof? Jimmy Fallon sent out a writer to quiz some park-goers (no kids!) about some basic 'Potter' trivia, and the results were kind of dismal.
