Canada's gravely voiced country crooner is set to unleash a new 10-track album on us this summer. Western Swing & Waltzes and Other Punchy Songs will be out on August 28th. We get a clearer glimpse of the album today as he released the second song off of the project, an updated take of the Stan Jones Classic, “Cowpoke.”

Wall, who came to Texas and Yellow Dog Studios outside of Austin to record the new collections of songs , recorded several originals tunes for it, but will also offer up a couple covers including his take on Marty Robbins’ “Big Iron.”
