Councilman Fredd Adams Resigns As Singlemember District 4
San Angelo Councilman Fredd Adams resigns immediately as of February 18th. District 4 is one of the districts up for election in the May race.
Adams submitted his letter of resignation to the office of Mayor Alvin New and in that letter he was quoted by the City of San Angelo saying:
“It was an immeasurable blessing for me to have dedicated so much hard work and time to the support, improvement and advancement of the City of San Angelo,”
According to his letter he is looking forward to new endeavors with his family and his ministry, The councilman seat must be filled with in 30 days by a unanimous vote to finish the term out. If no unanimous vote can be made then there has to be a special election with in 90 days to fill the seat.
