Door-To-Door Sales requires a Permit in San Angelo

Due to the recent storms we have experienced in the Concho Valley, citizens are starting to see numerous people going door-to-door offering home repair with various businesses. 

Be aware that these businesses are required to have a permit from the police department and also have to register and obtain a permit from the San Angelo Building Permits & Inspections office as well. 

To broaden the scope, anyone doing door-to-door sales is required to have a permit issued from the City of San Angelo, more specifically from the SAPD and it must be visible on their person. If you’re approached and don’t see it, request to see it.

Due to COVID-19, for now merchants can request a sales permit by calling 325-657-4250 to set up an appointment with the SAPD Records Department.
