Downtown Movie Nights Are Back

One of San Angelo's most popular annual events is "Downtown Movie Night" which makes it's return starting this Friday, May 28th.

This is a great opportunity to get together with family and friends every Friday night, relax and enjoy some great movies and it will happen every Friday through August 27th.

The movies are totally free to watch and start each Friday at dusk which is around 9-9:15 pm. Concessions are always available and you are welcome to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the movies in comfort.

By the way, the last Friday of each month is Family Friday and two bicycles will be given away on those extra special nights.

This weekly event is set up in Historic Downtown San Angelo in the parking lot at 17 East Twohig between the Cactus Hotel and Miss Hattie's.

The selection of movies is outstanding and the movies now feature closed captioning.

Downtown Movie Night will be using the Outdoor Events guideline from the Texas Department of State Health Service. Please maintain safe social distance between groups. At Risk Individuals are encouraged to wear masks.
