The Eli Young Band have released their latest single, "Saltwater Gospel," which is the debut single and title track of their upcoming album.

"Saltwater Gospel" is an anthemic warm-weather tune, featuring lines such as, "When I go down and sink my feet in the water / And I soak up that sun and I watch it set / Yeah, I can feel the power of the saltwater gospel / I’m as close to God as I can get." Readers can press play below to hear it.

“Sometimes you just have that gut feeling you've come across something special," EYB lead singer Mike Eli says of the new song, co-written by Nicolle Galyon, Ashley Gorley and their producer, Ross Copperman. "When I heard this song, it moved me. I love that it is about so much more than just saltwater.”

The Eli Young Band's new record will be their first release with the Valory Music Co. Previously, the group released one album on Universal South and two records and two EPs on Republic Nashville. Scott Borchetta, Big Machine Label Group president and CEO, proclaims "Saltwater Gospel" "perhaps the most infectious new song of the summer."

"Don’t overthink it; just let "Saltwater Gospel" play, and let it wash over you," Borchetta says. "You will then know that summer has truly arrived.”

Fans will get to hear plenty of the new song as the EYB cross the country on tour this summer. A list of all of their upcoming shows is available on their website.
