Hockey Announcer Goes Off the Rails Bonkers on Game-Winning Goal
We can only imagine the level of enthusiasm this guy is going to summon when calling a postseason game.
Enjoy this call of the game-winning overtime goal between the University of Minnesota and Boston University in women's hockey last weekend.
Max Wolpoff is the man behind the mic.
We love how fired up he is and we love it even more that he goes full-on stream of consciousness by declaring, "I have lost my voice with excitement!"
The win pulled the Terriers to 12-7-1 on the season. There are plenty more games to go, but Wolpoff doesn't seem too interested in pacing himself. To be fair, Minnesota was ranked second in the country, so there's reason to be pumped up.
BU doesn't play again until January, so Wolpoff will have plenty of time to rest his voice in order to get it back and lose it all over again in the next OT thriller.
