So, I was bored the other day and decided to go to the Airbnb web site and see what San Angelo has to offer.
You have your typical places around town. Some places out in the country. Some are near downtown. The prices vary from down to $50 a night to quite a few that are over $100 a night.
Just for fun, I wanted to see if we had any Airbnb's around here for over $1000 a night. Well, lo and behold I found one. This listing for $1500 a night outside of town.
How luxurious is this? You've got 6 bedrooms along with 5.5 baths. I think this could be roomy enough for me. Plus, the host of this Airbnb offers a lot of amenities for $1500 price.
Included is a full kitchen, a large great room with fireplace, a large porch with rocking chairs, individual heating and air conditioning for each bedroom, cable TV, DVD player, surround sound for inside and outside, a large fire pit and two barbeque pits. We also provide clean sheets, towels, and all the kitchen supplies and dishes.
Who wants in with me? Let's party this weekend. It'll only cost us a cool 3 grand! We'll load up some coolers with a bunch of cool beverages.
The property only has one review from 5 years ago. It was kind of short, but it was a good one and they highly recommend staying there.
Have you stayed here? Do you know anyone who has? Is it worth the $1500 a night stay? Tell us on Facebook or on our station app.

Many of the included towns jump out at the casual observer as popular summer-rental spots--the Ozarks' Branson, Missouri, or Arizona's Lake Havasu--it might surprise you to dive deeper into some quality-of-life offerings beyond the beach and vacation homes. You'll likely pick up some knowledge from a wide range of Americana: one of the last remaining 1950s-style drive-ins in the Midwest; a Florida town that started as a Civil War veteran retirement area; an island boasting some of the country's top public schools and wealth-earners right in the middle of a lake between Seattle and Bellevue; and even a California town containing much more than Johnny Cash's prison blues.
