It’s A Chris Stapleton Bacon Statue

Chris Stapleton has enjoyed a lot of success with his career lately. He has 2 Grammy Awards for his debut studio album 'Traveller', he’s the reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year, & is selling millions of albums! Now Chris is honored in a very special but strange way.

During his performance at LouFest in St. Louis, Stapleton found himself face to face with a bust of himself...made out of bacon!

The bust was commissioned by Farmland Foods and created by food-artist Nancy Baker. Farmland Foods held a promotional contest that allowed folks to guess how many strips of bacon it took to create the bust for a chance to win a year’s supply of bacon.

When Stapleton was asked what he thought about the statue, his response was simply “I look delicious.”

Stapleton is currently on tour for the remainder of the 2016 and into 2017. Chris is also set to perform on the 50th annual CMA Awards Nov. 2nd where he’s nominated for five awards, including Entertainer of the Year.
