The Last Market Days of 2025 – And It Matters More Than Ever
As Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s approach, most of us will spend the holidays surrounded by family, warmth, and tradition. But for 55 young West Texans, kids who have aged out of foster care, the holidays can feel uncertain and lonely. No family gatherings. No big home-cooked meal. No place to land.

Wylie Christian Church in Abilene is stepping in to change that.
Their final Market Days of the year is happening this November, and every dollar raised goes directly toward helping these young adults secure food, shelter, clothing, and essential support as they step into life on their own.
Shop Local. Help Local. Change a Life.
This isn’t just a craft show or a shopping event. It's community stepping up for community.
At Market Days, you’ll find:
- Homemade baked goods
- Jewelry and accessories
- Christmas and Thanksgiving décor
- Tumblers, toys, and meaningful giftables
- One-of-a-kind home décor and handmade treasures
It’s the place to find that unique holiday gift you’ll never find in a big-box store, while helping a young man or woman experience hope and stability.
Why This Market Day Is Special
Pastor Roni Stanton, who tirelessly leads and organizes this event, reminds us that every dollar raised has a name attached to it.
These funds don’t disappear into a program, they go to real young adults right here in West Texas, helping them with:
- Food and groceries
- Rent deposits
- Clothing and hygiene essentials
- Transportation assistance
- Emotional and spiritual support
Be Part of the Blessing
If you love the thrill of a great deal, if you love supporting your neighbors, or if you simply believe that every young person deserves a chance, Wylie Christian Church Market Days is where you need to be.
Come shop. Come support. Come change a life.
