Sacred Heart Christmas Bazaar is Back With Food, Fun & Faith
The women of Sacred Heart Church in Abilene are opening their doors and their kitchens for one of the most anticipated holiday events in the Big Country, the Sacred Heart Christmas Bazaar, happening Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 832 Jeannette Street. This cherished community gathering continues on Sunday, December 7, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This isn’t just a bazaar, it’s a celebration of faith, family, food, and the Abilene community coming together during the season of giving.
Homemade Meals That Taste Like Home
Starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, the kitchen fires up with a hearty, homemade meal featuring chili, beans, cornbread, and tea, just $8 for adults and $5 for children.
On Sunday morning, the smell of a classic West Texas breakfast fills the air. For $10, guests can enjoy eggs, bacon, potatoes, beans, tortillas, and tea.
Plus, burritos are $3 each, Menudo is $12 a bowl, and a 32-ounce Menudo to-go container is $15.
And now, the Big Country favorite everyone waits for…
Get the Famous Sacred Heart Tamales Before They Sell Out
The ladies of Sacred Heart have been rolling up their sleeves and making fresh holiday tamales, one of the most sought-after seasonal treats in Abilene. Tamales to go are just $16 a dozen, but they will sell out quickly. Trust me, I buy several dozen every year. Nothing beats coming home after a long day of work to a plate of Sacred Heart tamales smothered in chili with fresh tortillas and beans. At my house, you’ll eat like a king or a queen.
Raffles, Auctions, Games, and Fun for All Ages
This year’s bazaar offers arts and crafts, baked goods, local vendors, games for the kids, and both a regular and silent auction. Bingo will be held both Saturday and Sunday, with proceeds benefiting Sacred Heart Church organizations. Raffle tickets are $10 each, and one lucky winner will receive a $100 gift card.
Support a Church That Supports Abilene
Sacred Heart is known for helping the elderly, the ill, and local families struggling during the holidays. By attending, you’re not just enjoying great food and fun, you’re strengthening a vital community lifeline.
Come celebrate, shop, eat, and enjoy the magic of the season at 832 Jeannette Street.
Everyone is invited.
